Ingredients
- 3 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2 egg whites
Directions
- Mix sugar, water and syrup -- boil to 248F
- Beat egg whites stiff
- Pour half of syrup over egg whites in slow steady stream
- Keep heating and put other half of syrup to 260F
- Pour over first mixture and continue heating
- Add vanilla and nuts
- Beat until peaks shape
- Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper
